Where do I start with this holiday. Spiros’s cottage is the most amazing, beautiful, relaxing location to relax and unwind. You’re surrounded by nature, the smells from the trees are... read more so lovely. We spent many days in and out of the pool, enjoying the views and the peace and quiet. The pool lights up in the evening so you can enjoy an evening swim, which we did. There is a beautiful lemon tree outside the cottage, we picked lemons and squeezed them into salads we made. Spiros gave us some olive oil from the grounds, it was the most delicious olive oil I have ever had! There is a very cute and friendly little white cat who kept us company during our time at the cottage and reminded us of our cat at home. The stars at night are beautiful, the sky is so clear. We just felt so safe and relaxed the whole time. Spiros kept in touch and came and changed our bedding and cleaned and removed the bins. When our WiFi stopped working once Spiros quickly came and fixed it. We hired a car and it was a quick 15 minute drive to local beaches which were gorgeous. We went to Limnonari beach and Panormos beach. Both were beautiful and had lovely tavernas. I just wish I could have spent a month at Spiros’s cottage! I miss it already! Ευχάριστο πολύ!

His country home is beautiful,... read more perfect for a couple who want privacy while still being able to connect with nature. The house is super clean, including the outdoor areas and pool. A car is definitely needed, as well as a confident driver, as you need to drive up the mountain and the road is quite rocky just before you reach the house. I would highly recommend this home for your stay in Skopelos, and we hope to return to this amazing island soon.

We especially enjoyed evening swims in the excellent pool and dinners on the patio watching the sunset. You must have a car to get to Potami House and to get around the island. Host Spiros is a magnificent gardner and brought us treats from his fruit trees. He helped with some special requests and shared the history of the property and the chapel. The home is in the forest so there is some wildlife scurrying around at times. Adventurous travelers will not fine a more spectacular locale.
